Shelter Work

 

An important part of my life is volunteering in animal shelters.  Mostly in Crete at

Gouves Animal Shelter. 

​

Sick, old or injured street dogs end up here as well as abandoned dogs whose owners do not care for them anymore.

​

I work there with dogs suffering from trauma, fear or aggression and try to build back their trust in humans with lots of love.

​

The animal shelter receives zero support from the state and relies exclusively on donations.        

All employees work there for free, in their spare time, but full of love and joy with all their heart.

​

Every donation is welcome and goes directly to the animals.

​
